Summary
Yes The power of corporations and the so-called "war on terror" have turned the collective desire to uphold global justice into the preserve of those who do not live by self-interest alone. Standing up to be counted in defence of others is difficult when it seems that the prevailing message is "watch your back". Perhaps if we all go out of our way to watch each other's back the essence of global justice would not be merely the preserve of minority groups.
